Meshroom is full of tweak options but the glaring miss for me is point cloud editing and bounding box. Either one (or both) would make Meshroom the most robust CLI solution out there. I've been chasing an interupt in the pipe to bring SFM.abc output into a 3rd party solution like blender to clean up the point cloud then bring that back to.

I agree, Open3D could bring some interesting features to Meshroom. For Point Cloud Registration, the GUI implementation for the initial alignment will require some work. The processing part can relatively easy be wrapped in Meshroom nodes.

Show where Lidar is available. Show Topobathy Lidar. To obtain a list of downloadable products, draw an Area of Interest (AOI) on the map by holding the Ctrl key down while dragging a box within the map or use the AOI widget aspect_ratio. Lidar Explorer is a map viewer for downloading and viewing USGS 3DEP lidar data.

The resulting point cloud is characterized by a very poor point density (490,000 points), and the outcrop surface is noisier if compared to a point cloud coming from a standard Agisoft Photoscan workflow (18,000,000 points).
